Good afternoon parents:
I hope your youngsters are as excited about the new school year starting next week as I am! Our office workers (secretaries, counselors, principals) and custodians have been working hard to prepare for your arrival on the evening of the 22nd. Many of our teachers have also been in getting rooms ready for the students. We are looking forward to welcoming 944 students this year (522 in 7th grade; 422 in 8th grade, as of this afternoon).
As a reminder, open house will occur on August 22nd with students with the last names beginning with A-K being able to pick up schedules starting at 5:45 pm and students with the last names beginning with L-Z being able to pick up schedules starting at 6:45. Locker numbers and combinations will be distributed at the open house.

Tonight is the Jamboree varsity football scrimmage against Franklin at 7:00pm. All tickets are $5 and proceeds will support a double lung transplant for Rod Dillon, Springboro grad and volunteer.
All students are encouraged to ride the school bus for the first week of school in an effort to familiarize the students and drivers with the stops and who will be picked up/dropped off. You should have received your bus schedule times in the mail from transportation. Students will be transported to the high school following their neighborhood routes and then transfer to a junior high shuttle bus. The first few days are the best time to learn this procedure.
