THIS IS A SPECIAL UPDATE REGARDING A SITUATION WE HAD AT SPRINGBORO HIGH SCHOOL THIS MORNING..... A SCIENCE TEACHER WAS CONDUCTING AN EXPERIMENT…THE EXPERIMENT CAUSED A SPRINKLER HEAD TO ACTIVATE, CAUSING US TO EVACUATE THE BUILDING….THE FIRE DEPT. RESPONDED IMMEDIATELY AND ASSISTED THE STAFF IN CONTAINING THE DAMAGE TO A SMALL AREA….AT NO TIME WERE ANY STUDENTS IN DANGER……AFTER ABOUT 30 MINUTES, WE WERE ABLE TO RE-OCCUPY THE BUILDING AND RESUME OUR NORMAL ACTIVITIES….
I WANT TO THANK MANY PEOPLE FOR HELPING US DEAL WITH THIS SITUATION….THIS INCLUDES THE CLEARCREEK TWP.FIRE DEPT.; THE SPRINGBORO POLICE DEPT. AND NUMEROUS STAFF MEMBERS……FINALLY, THANKS TO THE STUDENT BODY OF SPRINGBORO HIGH SCHOOL…..THEY HELPED MAKE A SITUATION THAT COULD HAVE BEEN CHAOTIC AS CALM AND ORDERLY AS POSSIBLE…..
