The Open Springboro Project
My wife and daughter and I moved to the outskirts of Springboro a few years ago and are currently planning on moving into city proper sometime this year. This is a bit of a scary proposition for me knowing how much Springboro pays in local taxes -- especially in the aftermath of the Great Recession which has everyone looking to dismantle the Government in order to lower their taxes.

I started working on the Open Springboro Project a few months ago in order to see exactly what my taxes are being used for, including every dime that goes in, and every penny that comes out. My hopes are to get this information online so that everyone knows exactly where the money is being spent before dismantling our local government and its services.

If you're a resident of Springboro or one of its surrounding communities -- or if you are interested in bringing open government to your local community -- please "Like" the page below and share it with your friends on Facebook. I'll be posting new information on my discoveries regularly and greatly appreciate new information and ideas!
