Tornado Warning Issued for the area...

There is a Tornado Warning that has been issued for our area till 1:45am.  There is a line of heavy storms coming in from the West.  A major wall of strong winds, heavy rain, thunder, lightning, and tornado conditions.

Please seek cover in the basement of your home, interior of your home, or in an enclosed room such as a bathroom.

The Weather Service has not extended, as of yet, the Tornado Warning.  They have extended the Thunderstorm Warning till 2:30am.

A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 145 AM EDT FOR WARREN... NORTHERN HAMILTON AND BUTLER COUNTIES...

AT 124 AM EDT... RADAR CONTINUED TO INDICATE A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO. THIS DANGEROUS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR TRENTON... MOVING EAST AT 65 MPH. IN ADDITION TO THE TORNADO... THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DESTRUCTIVE STRAIGHT LINE WINDS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE... MASON... FRANKLIN... LEBANON... SPRINGBORO... MORROW AND WAYNESVILLE.

IN ADDITION... LANDEN... LOVELAND PARK... STATE ROUTE 63 AT STATE ROUTE 741... HAGEMAN... KINGS MILLS... MAINEVILLE... MURDOCK AND SOUTH LEBANON ARE NEAR THE PATH OF THIS STORM.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING INTERSTATES... I-71 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 20 AND 41... I-75 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 17 AND 39...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW. MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF A STURDY BUILDING. AVOID WINDOWS. IF IN A MOBILE HOME... A VEHICLE OR OUTDOORS... MOVE TO THE CLOSEST SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER. PROTECT YOURSELF FROM FLYING DEBRIS.

PLEASE REPORT TORNADOES... FUNNEL CLOUDS... STRONG WINDS OR HAIL TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BY CALLING TOLL FREE... 877-633-6772... WHEN YOU CAN DO SO SAFELY.
