IWe wanted to let you know about an important opportunity for you to receive some extra help on April 9 as part of "Love Your City" day.
Shawn Acrey, a local youth pastor, is organizing the 2011 “Love Your City” day on April 9, 2011. He will be managing teams of teenagers, adults and craftsman to help residents with one-day projects or chores. Some of the projects can be as complicated as re-roofing sheds, to simply mulching flower beds or painting a fence.
If you have a need that you think might qualify, please call Shawn Acrey directly at (937) 748-2670 or e-mail him at shawn@springborobaptist.org. You can discuss your needs with him and he can let you know if his group can help. He needs to hear from you as soon as possible, but no later than March 18, 2011.

The Historic Area looks less than historic. Property owners need to clean up. The City swept the street, trimed the trees and put up spring banners. Now we need a clean new look to make us proud of the only downtown we have.
