Vehicles Needed for Dennis Elementary Transportation Day
As part of Career Week, we are having a Transportation Day.  If you (or your company) have an interesting vehicle (race car, motorcycle, farm or construction vehicle, antique car, limo, hot air balloon, boat, semi, moving van, etc.) and would like to help, please let us know as soon as possible.  Right now we only have about 12 different vehicles and would like at least 20!  The event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 18, 2011, from 9:00-3:00.  You and your vehicle would need to arrive at 8:50 and stay until all the classes have been able to tour the various vehicles.  Lunch will be provided!  We are trying to provide a fun, interesting, and educational day for students, so please let us know if you have a vehicle or mode of transportation we can include, and we will plan a great day!  If you are able to help, please send in the following information to your child's teacher - your name, student's name, phone number, email address, and vehicle that you will be bringing.  Thank you for your help.

Fifth Grade Parents
Attached above is a copy of the letter from Springboro Intermediate that was sent home with all fifth grade students. Many items of importance are included in this letter concerning:
  • Parent Orientations will be held at SI on May 3 (for Dennis Elementary) and May 4 (for Five Points).  Both sessions are in the gym at SI and will begin at 7:00.  Both sessions will last about an hour. Parents may attend either session.
  • SI Guidance Counselor will be visiting the elementary schools on  May 13 (This is a change).  Class registration forms will be sent home on those dates.
  • A tour of the SI building will take place for students on the following date:  May 16  Tours will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
  • Early schedule pick up is available for all students on August 18 from 1-5 PM
