Springboro HS Tennis Singles...

Through the rain their has been some Springboro High School Varsity Tennis action this week.  All three Singles talents Cruz Zwissler, Greg Lloyd, and Ryan O'Gara from Springboro made it to the Third Round of the Sectional Tournament. With O'Gara moving on to play in the Semifinals this weekend against #1 seed Brad Boll of Centerville.

Here how the first three rounds played out:

1st Round
Ryan O'Gara defeated #4 seed Scott Schwenker from Fairmont, 6-2, 6-7, 6-2
Cruz Zwissler defeated Mike Lopes from Carroll, 6-2, 6-0
Greg Lloyd defeated Nick Houvouras from Miamisburg, 6-1, 6-0

2nd Round
Ryan O'Gara defeated Alex Smith from Centerville, 6-1, 6-1
Cruz Zwissler defeated Milan Patel from Miamisburg, 6-0, 6-0
Greg Lloyd defeated Michael Fu from Beavercreek, 6-1, 3-6, 6-2

3rd Round
Ryan O'Gara defeated Ross Butterfield from Lebanon, 6-1, 6-1.
Cruz Zwissler was knocked out by Ruben Geeraert #2 seed from Centerville, 6-0, 6-2.
Greg Lloyd was put out of the tournament by Marc Sodini #3 seed from Wilmington, 6-1, 6-1
