Last night, Springboro High School Baseball program lashed out on the Lebanon Warriors by shutting them out 4-0 to clinch the GWOC South title. This week has been a trifecta of sorts for the Springboro Panthers. Sunday they clinched the 1st seed in the sectional tournament, Monday they defeat Lebanon, and retain their crown as GWOC South Champs.
Scott White, the Panthers talked about ace, did not disappoint versus Lebanon. White had a complete game 12 strikeouts for the win. Ian Huff provided the fireworks from the plate with a 2 run home run.
Springboro is 18-5 on the season and an amazing 11-1 in the GWOC. Springboro will await the winner of the West Carrollton/Trotwood game and play May 13th in the Sectionals.
