In Warren County, there were two significant races the Warren County Commission seat and Warren Couny Auditor. There were no independents or democratic opponents in either of these races.
Former Warren County Sheriff Tom Ariss won the Republican election in the five person race. He narrowly edged out Tom Grossman, former Mason mayor. Ariss obtained 37.2 percent of the votes to Grossman's 34.58%. Other candidates were Chris Koch who drew a solid 20.25% of votes, Sandra Tugrul with 5.44% and Carlisle Mayor Tim Humphries with only 2% of the votes.
In the Warren County Auditor race Nick Nelson convincingly won over Clearcreek Township Fiscal Officer Linda Oda. Nelson earned 69.11% of voter support in the race. This is the second time that Nelson has nudged out Oda. In 2006, Nelson defeated Oda in the primary.
