1 1/2 cans of crescent rolls
2 lbs ground beef
1 jar sliced dill pickles
1 jar Frisch's Tartar sauce
1 bag shredded lettuce
12 - 16 oz. shredded cheese (krogers casserole cheese is best)
Onion Powder
Salt & Pepper
Spread crescent rolls out enough to cover the bottom of a 9X13 pan. Bake according to package directions until ALMOST done. While the crescent rolls are baking, brown the ground beef with salt, pepper and onion powder. Drain well. When crescent rolls come out, let them cool slightly, then spread the entire jar of tartar sauce evenly over the crescent rolls. next spread the ground beef over the tartar sauce. Now put a single layer of dill pickles on top of the ground beef (pat your pickles dry a little so that there is not a lot of juice.). Now spread the shredded lettuce over the pickles. Last, put the shredded cheese over the lettuce making sure to cover the shredded lettuce with the cheese (this protects the lettuce in the oven). Bake this casserole in a 350 degree oven until the cheese has completely melted. Cool slightly. EAT UP!!
