*Video*: Boro's Jake Ballard signs with the New York Giants.

After the draft, Jake Ballard's phone began ringing.  It has been reported that up to five teams really wanted to snag Ballard after the draft. (Bengals, Browns, Patriots, Redskins, and Giants)  After giving it much thought and consideration with his agent.  Jake Ballard is now heading back to another "Big Blue"to sign a free agent contract with the New York Giants.

He will be heading up later this week for rookie mini-camp in East Rutherford, N.J. according to Big Blue View.

Ballard, a standout football and basketball player for the Springboro Panthers had a great career at Ohio State University.  He has been a popular You Tube guy with his phenomenal catch against the Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl.  But The Springboro Voice favorite has to be on 10/21/2006 against Indiana where Troy Smith hit , then freshman, Ballard breaking free in the end zone!
