EAST MILL STREET CLOSING

East Mill Street will be closed from East Street to South Richards Run from April 5, 2010 until December 24, 2010.  Traffic will be detoured along South Richards Run to S. R. 73 to S. R. 741.  The clearing along the roadway has been completed.  Duke Energy and AT&T have relocated their lines and services and the bridge replacement work is scheduled to begin.  East Mill Street will be widened to three lanes from East Street to South Richards Run.  Concrete curb and gutter will be installed along with a storm sewer system.  Concrete sidewalks will be installed on both sides of East Mill Street connecting the Fieldstone and Creekside Subdivisions with the downtown.   A new 12” water main will also be installed as part of this project.  Barrett Paving Materials, Inc. was awarded the contract.  This is a State of Ohio Issue 2 project.
